Restaurant Name: Rack and Bull (Parks, AZ 15 Min outside Flagstaff)
Restaurant Rating: 8 (10 being the highest)
We ate at the Rack and Bull in February 2003 and it was Absolutely Awesome food! I could not believe that there was a chef of this caliber in a small town outside Flagstaff. I thought he belonged in a large Metropolitan area where more people could appreciate the chef’s talents. I thought everything was wonderful except for one thing. Neither my husband nor I are smokers and the bar was not closed off from the dining area. I don’t know if the ventilation didn’t work well or what, but the place reeked of cigarette smoke and so did we by the time we had finished dining. I think I would have given the food and atmosphere at the Rack and Bull a 10 if it wasn’t for the cigarette smoke. And for having such great food and service, the smoke really diminished the quality of the experience. If you smoke I don’t think you’ll mind in the least and will probably have a great time. I would go back to this restaurant again if it wasn’t for the smoke because the food and service was truly great. But unless they change the set up for the smoking area in some way, I don’t think we will 🙁
