Schultz Burn Area Replanting – Volunteers Needed

 

The Flagstaff Ranger District is inviting volunteers to help replant approximately 5,000 trees in the Schultz burn area. A public volunteer event will be held each Saturday in April.
 
Each volunteer day will begin at 8am and end early afternoon. Lunch will be provided to volunteers by Friends of Northern Arizona Forests (www.friendsofnazforests.org).
 
Who: Anyone eager to help with Schultz Fire recovery efforts. Participants of all ages are welcome – minors need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
 
When: Each event will begin at 8am.

Saturday, April 21
Saturday, April 28
 
Where: Schultz Pass Road (Forest Road 420).
 
What to Bring: Sturdy shoes and gloves, sunscreen, appropriate dress for the weather, and plenty of water. Lunch provided.
